One of the biggest challenges for those learning a new language is finding people to practice with. When you are an adult, it’s not easy to make new friends, especially those who can give you a hand and speak English with you. As some of you know, I’m learning Russian, and I don’t have any cultural connections or friends to talk to me. One day, scrolling my Instagram feed, I found a Telegram channel/group where I could have some doses of Russian (language…) every day.
My students have many opportunities to practice English, such as the conversation workshop and the study plan. However, as Shakespeare said, “You can never have too much of a good thing”!
Then, I met teacher Hernán, who has a Telegram channel to help students of English produce something in English daily.
How it works
In a nutshell, it’s a discussion group where you can share your ideas and routine through text, voice messages, or videos. There’s a new theme every day, and the teachers give you feedback on language and vocabulary.
I’m pretty excited about this news because, as a student, I know that it really works!
